MediaXWomen: Academic Resource for Media Literate Filipinos
The first episode of OOTB’s MediaX explainer video series, “MediaXWomen” ponders on how women are represented in Philippine media. It dissected and evaluated representations of women in television shows and films and asked feminist advocates of their insights on such representations. This video urges the audience, especially girls and young women, to ask “What then should we do about the media’s portrayal of us, our bodies, our beliefs and attitudes?”
